Below is a simple chart that highlights some of the types of information we might have access to (or request access to) on both the iOS and Android apps in order to facilitate certain features of Artsonia.
Some mobile devices may ask for your permission to use a particular feature at the time you access it, whereas other devices may ask for all permissions at the time you install the app (even if you don't need to access all the requested features of your device).
The main point is that the app will not use any feature for which you haven't given permission.
Please note that any information collected from the app may be requested from students under 13 as well.
||This permission gives access to your device's photo albums, allowing you to import existing pictures to Artsonia. We do not capture any pictures from your photo albums except those which you choose to upload to Artsonia.|
||This permission gives access to your device's camera, allowing you to upload new pictures to Artsonia or to scan QR code images in Classroom Mode.|
||This permission allows the app to determine connection status to wi-fi networks for use in debugging.|
