A teacher can remove a student account by logging into their teacher section, first deleting all of their artwork, and then deleting the student from their roster.
If you are a parent and wish to delete your child's student account, you may do so by first contacting your child's school directly. This is required because the student artwork submitted by the teacher (or child under the direction of the teacher) and other student or teacher content (such as feedback on your child’s artwork by their teacher) may be considered an “education record” and will be retained by us at the direction of the school (e.g., for school legal compliance reasons such as maintenance of “education records” under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) or "student data" under various state student privacy laws).
NOTE: If you are a parent and published artwork on your child's behalf, you may login and delete your child's artwork uploaded by you directly.
NOTE: Deleting a student account is different than Artsonia automatically removing personal information from an inactive student account.
